Introduction
Hello
I have just joined JPS and am looking forward to learning and playing solo. My name is Dipak and and I have always wanted to learn to play the piano, so a few of years ago I purchased a keyboard and started learning from YouTube and information found online. I did not have a clue about which type of music I wanted to learn to play. I have now decided to learn Jazz as it is very rich in every way and it allows me to play freely without the strict rules of classical piano. I understand reasonable theory however I would like to improve on my fingering and hand coordination. My objective is to sit on the keyboard/piano and play freely for myself and my family. I am open to advice from anyone in JPS so please keep it coming. Thank you.
