TOPIC #1 - Minor Jazz Standards

Step #1: Analyze a variety of minor tunes using roman numeral analysis
Step #2: Apply chord scales and arpeggios to develop vocabulary for improvising in a bebop style
Step #3: Apply the blues scale or minor pentatonic scale where applicable
Step #4: Play an improvised solo over one of the selected minor jazz standards (see attached file for appendix of suggested tunes)
