Topic #1 - Voicing Exercise

Step #1 – Dominant rootless voicing voicleading exercise
Step #2 – Pick 3 random tunes and try to comp through with your LH with Ireal pro. Then do RH with LH bass notes with Ireal pro

TOPIC #2 - Improvisation

Step #3 – 2-5-1-6 – Improvise with RH alone at 70 bpm attempting to start your line with a bebop approach and possibly end your lines with bebop approaches. Use all steps and scalar motion. Rests and space is okay.
Step #4 – Swing chord scales up and down to pent up house
Step #5 – Improvise over pent up house again and aim to add in more steps and scalar motion and use bebop equation.

TOPIC #3 - Solo Piano Ballads

Step #6 – Practice 9’s in split shell setup, Voice Lead through minor 7ths – LH 1, & 10 RH 7 & 9 – And also, LH 1&7 RH 9, 3
Step #7 – Try to integrate 9’s into your minor 7th chords for Nearness and Everything I Have Is Yours

TOPIC #4 - Blues Solo Piano

Step #8 – LH add in some 137 now or bass note to full rootless voicing. Practice LH alone and comp through chorus.
Step #9 – Add in RH.
