Step #1 – Practice 1st Chorus of WK’s solo over This I Dig of You with Metronome on 2 and 4. See if you can get the tempo up 4-8 clicks
Step #2 – Swing Chord Scales To Four and This I Dig Of You up and Down with LH Bass Notes and met on 2 and 4
Step #3 – Solo Over This I Dig and think simple rhythms DON”T think bebop notes or approaches.
Step #4 – Solo Over this I dig again and think Both rhythms and bebop approach notes.
Step #5 – Try to use developement ideas below A. Octaves
B. Repeating Ideas
C. RH and LH Synced Together
D. Lots of space vs little space
E. Dynamics
