Lesson Plan:

Solo Piano

Step 1: Play melody in RH and comp together with LH bass note and RH simple chord below melody (in sync). Bring out the melody and play the accompaniment quietly.
Step 2: Play melody in RH and alternate LH bass notes and RH simple chords below melody (rhythmically offset).
Step 3: Repeat step 2 with improvised variations on the melody.
