Lesson Plan:

Topic: Solo Piano Rhythm + Improv

Step 1: Practice “What is This Thing Called Love” advanced version, using less pedal and more accents.
Step 2: Practice improvising using LH 7th chords, and a combination of F harmonic minor, C harmonic minor, C major, Bb major, Ab mixolydian, and G mixolydian scales.
Step 3: Play a full arrangement with 1 chorus of melody, 1-2 choruses of improv (optional) (q = 120-150)
