TOPIC #1 - Melody Separation Hybrid
Step #1 – Move RH Down to comp under where your two harmonizations are.
Step #2 – Try light fills in space with RH. Rolls up voicings, octaves or extra low end bass notes.
Step #3 – Try slower tempo
Step #4 – Use b9 or b13 on every dominant chord.
TOPIC #2 - Improvisation
Step #5 – Try to add more linear lines with bebop approach used to connect into the next chord change. Less skips back and forth.
Step #6 – Add LH hold strategy into Pent Up House Now.
