Lesson Plan:

Topic: Comping

We are going to work on your timing and isolate single chords along with the metronome.
Step 1: Give yourself 1 click per measure from the metronome (beat 1, 2, 3, and then 4) and play your chord exactly on the click.
Step 2: Repeat but only give yourself one click every other measure from the metronome
Step 3: Create rhythmic patterns to repeat throughout the tune (met back on 4 clicks per measure)
