Topic #2 - Improv Exercises
#3 – Set metronome to 170 Bpm and clap all 8th notes, then play all 8ths notes on one note, then comp all 8th notes using LH shells and RH octaves
#4 – 160 bpm clap on 1, and the and of 2. Then follow above steps
#5 – 170bpm clap on the 1+ and the downbeat of 3.
#6 – RH Improvise alone using F Blues scale with metronome on 160bpm.
#7 – Improvise over bags groove trying to focus on rhythms with ireal pro at 76bpm. Feel the triplet.
