Lesson Plan:

Topic: Improv

The structure of our phrases is coming along nicely. Now we want to work on connecting what we play with what we hear.
Step 1: Practice sing/play call and response lines. Repeat playing in time until you get it right.
Step 2: Play lines in unison with no accompaniment.
Step 3: Alternate playing lines in unison and comping for yourself.
