Topic #1 - Solo Piano Exercises

#1 – LH 1&7 RH 3 and 11. All Minors, (#11) on Dominants and Major 7ths.
#2 – LH 1 & 10, RH 7 and 11 all Minors, (#11) on dominants and major 7ths.
#3 -LH 1&7 RH 3 and 13. All Minors, Dominants and Major 7ths.
#4 – LH 1 & 10, RH 7 and 13 all Minors on dominants and major 7ths.

Topic #2 - Solo Piano Integration

#5 – Practice 2-3 more ballads of your choice without melody just practicing the basic underlaying ballad two hand system with 1&7 to 1&10 and RH shell and 5.
#6 – Try to smooth out I Should Care. Make sure every melody on down beat has harmonization
#7 – Dominant chords leading to minor7ths should take b9’s when filling with rootless voicing.
#8 – Try and passing or tritone movements when space allows.
