TOPIC #1 - Reharm Sus Improvisation (C, F, Bb, Eb)
Step #1 – Play Sus voicing in LH while RH plays 135 moving up the scale and back down
Step #2 – Same as above but play 531 moving up the scale
Step #2 – Same as above but play 531 moving up the scale
TOPIC #2 - Song For My Father & Recordame
Step #3 – Try 150bpm & 180 bpm. Practice playing more simple with the higher speeds and see what happens.
Step #4 – Dynamics. Practice playing as soft as you can, then as loudly as you can. I want to hear a full spectrum of dynamics.
Step #5 – Use the whole piano to improvise with.
